Our Rotary Visit
We stayed in Arusha for 5 days as guests of the Rotary Club of Arusha Mount Meru. Our primary host and guide was Steve Broadbent, who had managed the N’Giresi water project for which our Rotary Clubs of Exeter Southernhay and Hemel Hempstead had raised the funds.

Our schedule for the five days in Arusha included Arusha Mount Meru and Arusha Rotary meetings, 2 visits to N’Giresi to see the water project and visit the primary and secondary schools, a visit to the Usa River Children’s Centre, the Olyset mosquito net factory, the Tengeru water pump system, the International Criminal Tribunals for Rwanda and Arusha National Park.

Safari
Whilst in Arusha we went on a safari to the Arusha National Park. After Arusha we went on a safari tour to N'Gorongoro National Park, Manyara National Park and Tarangire National Park, where we were privileged to see much wildlife in all of the parks including the rare tree climbing lions in Tarangire.
