Tahai Ceremonial Complex

This is the most important religious and political centre of the Marama’s tribe. It is a vast megalithic site consisting of 3 ahu:

Ahu Vai Uri with 5 moai, Ahu Tahai with one moai (the oldest one) and Ahu Ko Te Riki that has one moai which has been restored with its pukao on the head and eyes made with white coral and red scoria.
